For their first date as an official couple, Megamind had researched the practices of American dating. In addition to picking the girl up, taking her out, and paying for her, he had read that it was customary for the male to give some sort of gift to the female at the beginning of the date as a token of affection. Flowers were a common gift.
"What is that?" the reporter asked, aghast at the sight before her.
