A/N: Just something I thought up today. Pure Percabeth! Enjoy... with some coffee.

Day One

He sees her in the morning. 7:19, to be exact, is the time she walks in the shop. He has never seen her before, but deep down, something tells him that she and him are meant to be something. He does not know what, so he keeps quiet. He watches as the blonde with the bewitching grey eyes says something to the cashier and then sits down at the table next to the door. Maybe he should order something, too. After all, that's why he is here.

He walks to the table and words tumble out of his mouth, asking for an extra-large latte with whipped cream on the top, please. And no sugar. Wait, wasn't that what she ordered?! He watches helplessly as her order comes out, and she takes and walks out the door.

Day Two

She bustles into the coffee shop again on the next morning. What's there to lose? It's the cheapest one in Lower Manhattan. She is about to give the cashier her order when she notices someone move out of the corner of her eye to head behind her to order. Shaking her head, she turns around and asks for an extra large frappe with sugar.

Once she heads to the table, waiting anxiously for her coffee, she notices that the somebody with the green eyes is gone. She shrugs, and realizes that her coffee has been made. As she pulls out her purse to pay, she sees a sticky note on it with a message in a messy scrawl : I like frappés too. :)

Day Three

He arrives at the coffee shop a minute before she comes in. He never has believed in love at first site, but this is the closest he has ever been to feeling it. Is it a crush, a fling maybe? But he watches, ever the silent observer, as she pulls out cash for the coffee - how can someone be so graceful in paying money to someone else - and sighs.

But he has noticed something worthwhile, perhaps. She's staring at him with her beautiful eyes wide open. Unsure of what else to do, he stares back at her until she blinks and walks out of the shop - without her coffee. Now he definitely doesn't know what to do.

Day Four

The green-eyed boy has come there all four days that she has been coming. That is rather unsettling, but perhaps he is a regular customer. She orders a medium frappe with no sugar and, without taking her eyes off her feet, is walking to the small round table near the door when she bumps into the boy. Her luck has very bad timing. Why, again, is her stomach fluttering?

He looks up from under his mess of black hair. "Excuse me," he says in a low voice that somehow complements him. And before she knows it, her feet are carrying her out the door again. Drat. She realizes she left her frappé at the shop for the second time.

Day Five

She walks in, wary and alert in the morning, orders her coffee, and starts to sit down at the table when she realizes that she isn't alone. The gree-eyed boy is sitting there, too, with two frappés. "Y-y-you," she stutters and looks at the frappé that he has slid across the table to her, "for me?" He unleashes his dimples and nods.

He realizes that she is pretty even when she is flustered, but so is he, so he stands up and introduces himself. "I'm Percy Jackson, and I'm sorry about the staring." He offers his hand for her to shake.

She nods and takes it. "I'm Annabeth Chase, and I was on my way to high school."

He laughs, and they strike up a conversation about dogs and coffee and schoo

l which will leave them a period late and still happy about it.

When they realize that, Percy stands up and asks her a simple question. "Can I see you here after school?"

She tucks some hair hair behind her ear and tells him, "Yes," as she walks out.

A/N: So... How was it? If you read, please review as I am new to this. Thanks,
