Hello! It's been so long since i've written a story and it's my first one about twilight so constructive reviews would be nice. This may or may not be a short story but we'll see. Tell me what you think. I've always thought this is how Bella should have been in twilight. hmm….

Chapter 1: Reality is a Bummer

Bella looks at Edward with a look of confusion masking the laugh that was trying to bubble out of her system. So he was a vampire; that wasn't what made her want to laugh until her stomach hurt. Everything she had ever read or heard about vampires apparently wasn't true. From Edwards perspective vampires could be vegetarians and apparently could sparkle like unicorns. And that was what was funny. Everything he had told her made him such a let down. She had taken him to the woods thinking she was going to hear something really cool and instead she got a let down.

Looking at him now up close and personal she realized something. Edward had been interesting because she had never talked to him and got to know him. The idea of making him out to be anything she had wanted had been exhilarating for the past couple of months now it was such a let down to know none of what she had imagined was true.

She stepped away from him, her long brown hair blowing in the wind, and then let out a nervous laugh as his eyes seemed to try and search hers.

"well we should head back to school now don't want people to think we're up to anything"

He raised a perfectly sculptured eyebrow in surprise like he had expected a lot more from her than what she had just said. He shakes his head and looks her over not sure what to say

"So you're not the least bit phased?" he asked incredulously

She looked back at where they had come and back at him

"I already came to the conclusion that you were too perfect to be human. So vampire was on my list. However, i kind of expected a lot more then drinking animal blood and sparkling like a unicorn" she coughs nervously at the last part

a low rumble comes from his chest as he covers his mouth and shakes his head

"a unicorn really?" he shakes his head "i can't believe this"

Bella starts walking towards the school in her normal awkward shuffle and turns her head slightly over her shoulder to look at him

"yeah a unicorn. Are you sure you're a vampire?"

He stops laughing and she continues on her way until she reaches the school, gets in her car, and drives back home to charlie for dinner.
