Prologue

-Len POV-

I walked around Seisou, very irritated. For what reason? That feigning innocent kouhai Shimizu is off acting all cutesy with MY Kahoko! All because of that teacher Kanazawa, that purple haired demon...

I walked to the meeting room, all of this year's concours participants were called. Passing many doors and students (not to mention annoying giggly girls), I had finally arrived to where all the others were. Except one – Kahoko. Where is she?

"We'll start anyway. You should have noticed that recently th-" , Kanazawa started, only to be interrupted by a certain crimson haired girl. Kahoko burst through the door, panting heavily, cheeks flushed, hands on her knees and her violin in hand.

"Sorry I'm late!" she said, looking pleadingly at Kanazawa. How cute, I inwardly blushed. I can see why Yunoki has such a fun time making her show a flushed face - not that I approve of his sinister ways of harassing her.

"That's alright, Hino-san. Just try to be on time next time." The violet haired teacher replied.

Kahoko nodded and stood with the rest of us.

"As I was saying, recently, as you should have noticed, Seisou has been promoting more varied musical culture. We, the staff, are trying to get students to play more than one instrument, or at least be open minded about other ones. So, as you are this year's participants, the students acknowledge and admire you and to further promote this attitude, you will be paired up with another concours participant for a week, to learn to play at least one piece with their instrument. This means half a week to learn or teach.

Tsukimori and Hino-san will not be paired, as they play the same instrument, we will rotate, but Tsukimori will not be teaching Hino-san or vice versa. The pieces you learn will presented at the assembly two months from now, as it will take 8 weeks at most, excluding Tsukimori and Hino-san. Blah blah, the usual, don't mess up. And you may now pick your first partner." He finished as he stood, waiting for the partners. He stood and watched the rest of us.

This is horrible.
