Chapter 1- Snow Fight
And there He was. Just standing there. Oh, dear Spirits he is so handsome. I think that. that I love him. We just sit here, me staring at him, the rest of the team talking and laughing. He is staring out the window. We're all drinking our favorite drinks. Me drinking soda, and him also drinking soda. (I love soda. It's so good.) The rest of the team is drinking beer. The Captain said that we have a week off before we start our new mission, so we were all relaxing.
"Mission's been canceled." Said the Captain as he walked into the room.
"Why?" asked the man sitting beside me.
"It's snowing." HE said looking out the window. I love snow! I ran next to Him. The man who was sitting next to me got up and went to a window. The woman and the captain went to another window. There was only one man still sitting down.
"Come on, old man. Get up and watch the snow with us." Said Ace looking into the window next to mine.
"I'm not old!" replied Joker getting up. Queen sighed. The way these two men bickered was like an old married couple.
"Stop fighting you two. You're giving Queen a headache." Said Geddoe. Queen smiled at him.
"You wanna go outside?"
I turned around. He was standing there smiling at me.
I smiled, "Yeah. I'd like that Jacques."
" Lets all go." Said Ace as he walked upstairs. We all went upstairs to get changed into warmer clothes, than we all came back downstairs.
"C'mon. Let's go." Said Ace jumping around like a little kid.
"Calm down, Ace." Said Joker.
"Well stop being so slow and let's go outside."
"We're not being slow. We just came down the stairs."
"Whatever old man."
"I'm not old!"
"Cut it out you guys." Said Queen.
"C'mon." I said pulling Jacques with me. The others followed us out.
"Snowball fight," yelled Ace," Every man for himself." We all made snowballs and waited for the signal.
"Ready, Set, Go!" We all started pelting each other with snowballs. I was about to throw a snowball at Ace when I felt something hit me in the back. I turned around and saw Jacques staring at me trying to look innocent. I giggled and threw the snowball at him, but he ducked in time. Then a snowball hit him in the head and he turned to see who had thrown it. It was Queen. She was grinning.
All of a sudden it turned into a battle of the sexes, which wasn't fair because Queen and me were outnumbered 4 to 2. In the end we had won because we had hit them the most. They had surrendered. By that time we were all exhausted. We went back inside, the boys with defeated grins and me and Queen looking as happy as can be. We were all cold and wet so we got some hot chocolate.
"What are we gonna do now?" asked Queen looking at Geddoe.
"Anything we want for now." Geddoe replied. Ace looked excited. "Anything but that." Said Geddoe smiling. Ace looked disappointed. Queen laughed. Slowly the room started to empty. Only Aila and Jacques were left. There was a silence between them, not uncomfortable though. "Thank you." Jacques looked surprised. "For what" he asked. "For being my friend, and always helping me." Aila said not looking at him. Jacques shook his head. "Then I should thank you also." Aila looked at him, and jumped up from her seat and ran to him. She hugged him and ran up the stairs. Jacques stared at the stairs and then slowly started to smile. He got up from his seat and started to walk up the stairs. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.
