Jade's POV:

I'm on my way to the library to meet Cat to study. We have a science test tomorrow. She insisted that we not use the notes given to us (no, that would be too simple) and make our own from the books at the library. I would have said no to anyone in the world…except Cat. I've been dating Cat for about a month and she may drive me crazy, but I love her.

I texted Cat when I was standing outside of the library doors.

J: Where r u?

C: First table on the right by the science section.

I sighed and put my phone away. I pulled the door open and walked in. I hate the library because it's always full of children and homeless people. I gritted my teeth at the unattended kids who ran past me and pushed me out of their path of destruction. I just needed to find Cat and I'd be okay.

When I got to the table she said she was at, there was nothing there but one science book. I sat down in one of the chairs and texted Cat again.

J: I'm here. Where r u?

C: Look in the book.

I opened the textbook to the first page. Inside was a small note that said 'romance'. "What the hell," I mumbled under my breath.

J: Cat!

C: Just go to the romance section.

I closed my phone and started walking to the love books. I was so whipped. When I got there, there was a piece of printer paper taped to the shelves that said 'history'. I don't understand why Cat was doing this. I was probably gonna fail my test because I knew I wasn't gonna get to study. I practically ran to the history section, but once again found nothing but a paper. This time the paper said 'children'.

This sucks! If I didn't know I was going to totally get some later, I wouldn't even be doing this. I slugged to the kid's books. There were little monsters running around throwing books at each other. I walked up and down the isles and finally found Cat sitting in the corner giggling. I walked up to her.

"Hey, Cat."

She patted the ground beside her, so I took a seat next to her.

"Hi, Jadey."

Cat leaned into me and kissed my lips. We sat there kissing each other for about two minutes then I pulled away.

"We're not really going to study, are we?"

Cat bit her lip and shook her head. I smiled and kissed her again. Suddenly I was hit by a book. I turned my head and saw a kid with his tongue stuck out at me.

"I will kill-"

Cat pulled my head back to her and kissed me. Her strawberry lipgloss. Her cascading hair. Her soft, plump lips. I don't need to study science. Cat was the most interesting thing to study.
