Some TIVA drabble. I just felt like writing this. I might make it into a story later... if I figure out a plot or something.
What to do?
Anthony Dinozzo loved Ziva. That was the only explanation for the way he was feeling. It has been a couple weeks since they rescued Ziva from that cell in Somalia, but ever since he has had this feeling in his gut. Actually, that is a lie. He has felt like this for a while now.
When she first entered his life, he was attracted to her. She had come waltzing into the bullpen with that cute little smirk of hers. She had come there with the intentions of saving her half- brother, but she ended up staying.
Then she when became part of the team, he thought he was going to have to quit. He didn't know how he was going to sit right across the aisle from her and not say anything. He had wanted to tell her that he cared about her a long time ago, but Gibb's rules always stopped him.
Those stupid rules!
He was thinking of just sucking it up and putting his big- boy pants on and telling her. But this wasn't just his career he was sacrificing, it was hers too. He couldn't put her job at risk too since he wasn't sure how she felt.
She had changed since Somalia. They had broken her. They had broken his crazy little ninja. This just made him want to love her even more. He just wanted to be there for her and show her that he cared.
So here he was, sitting on his couch, trying to make this feeling go away. It seemed the harder he thought about them, the stronger they became. He wanted to get in his Mustang and drive over to her place, but something at him rooted in his spot.
What was he going to do?
(***)
Ziva inwardly cursed herself. Mossad agents were not supposed to fall in love. In Mossad, agents loved ones were always easy targets. Enemies would use them against the agent to try to win over their cooperation. She likes to think that is why she had survived this long, because she had no family that really cared.
But that is not true. Now she had her team. Gibbs, McGee, Abby, Ducky… And Tony. She cared about all of them but she had something special with tony. She told herself that it was just a good relationship with her partner. That it was good to be there for him, to have his six.
However, the more she tried to move past her feeling the harder it was becoming to ignore them. She didn't know what to do.
Every since Somalia she had become close to tony. She wanted him to always be there for her. She wanted him to always have his strong arms around her, protecting her. She wanted to have their movie nights back, where should fall asleep on his shoulder and not care. She wanted him.
"I couldn't live without you, I guess"
That is what he had said to her. What did he mean? Did he feel the same about her?
She really wanted to ask Tony and so many different occasions but something always held her back. Was she actually afraid that he would not return the feeling? Or was it her Mossad training kicking in, telling her that killers were supposed to have feelings?
She was sitting at her kitchen table with a bowl of ice cream in front her trying to sort out her feeling. Oh what Tony would say about this. He would probably make some reference to a chick flick and laugh at her confused expression. Was it bad when she her partner so well?
She would sometime say an idiom wrong, just to see his face . She loved that expression he got on his when he corrected her idiom. She knew what most of them meant and she normally knew how to say them correctly but she couldn't stop because she would miss his expression.
What was she going to do?
