Damon and Elena just got married and on their honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta Mexico.
All their friends and family came out for the wedding and are staying at the Barceló hotel.
Damon wakes up and stretches lazily across the bed. He pauses when his arm meets the empty space next to him.
"Elena" He calls out.
No response.
Damon walks through the room looking for her with no luck.
Figuring she got up and went for a walk on the beach he walks take the elevator down.
Stefan sees Damon looking around and walking for the exit.
"So how was the wedding night?" Stefan asked.
Ignoring his question Damon asks "Have you see Elena?"
"No, I just got down here. Have you called her to see where she is?" Stefan asked.
"No she left her phone on the night stand. She probably went out for some air after the night we had " Damon said lifting his eye brown suggestively.
Stefan rolled his eyes. "I bet. I'll help you look for her on the beach. She is probably sun bathing"
Damon and Stefan walk out to the beach. They starting look around and since it is only 10 in the morning there are not too many people out yet.
No Elena in sight. Damon starts walking briskly down the sand looking from face to face hoping to see his wife.
Damon breaks into a jog getting more nervous. "She wouldn't wander this far from the hotel. "He thinks.
Stefan yells " Hey wait up. " running after him.
Damon turns around " Where could she be Stefan?" he looks frantic and nervous.
" Calm down. Let's call her and see where she is." Stefan says. Stefan put his hand on Damon's shoulder to calm him but Damon shrugs it off and yanks his cell phone out of his pocket.
Holding down number one the phone speed dials Elena.
"I have been waiting for a call" A man with a deep Spanish accent says.
"Who the fuck is this and where is Elena?" Damon growls.
"I could kill her right now so I would be nicer if I were you"
Damon tries to calm himself and says more evenly "Where is my wife "
"You are asking the wrong question. You should be asking why I took her." The mans says.
"Ok then, why did you take her?" Damon's voice breaks a little when he says this.
