Prologue- Fresh New Starts

Chris was in his vacation home in Miami, Florida as he invited some friends from TDBB over to have dinner. He had Gwen, Trent, Jasmine, Shawn, Cody, Ellie, Pierce, Dottie, Brady, Arnold, Dana, Jela, Conor, Tep, Gary, DeShawn, Crystal and Jamie over for pizza, barbecue ribs and Pepsi. Everybody conversed with each other on memories, things they've done since departing from the show and what they did with the money.

"Me and Cody took a cruise to Japan since I've always wanted to visit there." Ellie explained.

"What about that trip to Nashville?" Jela asked.

"We met up with Conor and Chasi at the airport then we took a trip down here to Miami to see Chasi's home." Cody replied.

"I took them horseback riding and Cody's horse bucked him in the lake." Conor stated with a laugh.

"The horse had a mind of its own." Cody added as he blushed with embarrassment.

"Me and Arnold have since blocked Kimberly from all form of contact. She's tried stealing him from me and I can't have that since we had barely had enough time to rekindle a relationship." Jela explained.

"Kim tried stealing your man? She did spend a lot of time with him in the house." Conor reminded.

"She was just trying to get to me so I could take her farther. Lucky for both of us, we went out in the same week." Arnold retorted.

"She do well not to try it again. I'm alright with Jela since we can agree on certain things." Dana explained as she sipped her drink.

"The best part is no more Jose. I heard he got locked up again." Jela explained.

"Oh Vader, very influential." Tep joked.

"Why did you call him my dad?" Conor asked.

"He's Vader and you are a young Jedi. There must be a connection." Tep replied.

"I'm not missing him one bit." Dana whispered to Jela.

"You didn't have to endure him snoring for weeks." Jela added.

Gary, DeShawn, Crystal and Jamie are catching up since being in the house.

"Gary, how's your back holding up?" DeShawn asked.

"It's been touch and go to the point where I needed my walker a lot. The doctor said it should be fine, but I needn't stress myself." Gary replied.

"It was really lonely inside the house when you left." Crystal stated.

"It saved DeShawn, though. I guess you owe him twice." Jamie added with a giggle.

"Heh, I'll never forget you using the Veto to save me the first week. I was sure I was a goner." DeShawn stated.

"Being civil is what makes the law maintain its meaning. Without civility and order, we are doomed as a fair society." Gary explained as he cleaned his glasses.

Gwen, Trent, Jasmine and Shawn were reliving the days they were in the house.

"Look what we started, guys. We've made friends with so many new people." Trent stated.

"Not to mention started something of our own. I'm loving the paranormal experience." Jasmine added.

"Wasn't Duncan and Courtney supposed to be here?" Shawn asked.

"Courtney appealed his trial since becoming his personal lawyer. She wants to get him off on a plea of insanity." Trent replied.

"Won't they lock him up?" Jasmine asked.

"Gary told me that Duncan will be found not guilty on not being mentally sound when he blew up Chris's mansion." Gwen replied.

"I also heard Heather is the prosecutor who will suggest a time period in an insane asylum. Duncan can still come out for TPA, but he needs to stay in the facility for the time period imposed on him." Trent added.

"Heather as a prosecutor? I can definitely see that." Jasmine stated.

Chris and Chef came in as everyone gathered around as Chris held his hands up.

"I have just gotten off the phone with Julie and the producers have green lit yet another season of Total Drama Big Brother." Chris announces with a smirk.

Everyone cheered clinking glasses and bottles alike with one another.

"We also have a brand new cast. 16 new hopefuls who will be looking to get at some big money." Chris added.

"This will be so much fun! I enjoy all the seasons!" Ellie exclaimed as she did an excited jump.

"Any idea on who the new cast is?" Pierce asked.

"Well, I do know, but you'll have to wait and see til tomorrow for the pilot." Chris replied.

Chris took a step before twisting his ankle and fell over as he screamed in pain. DeShawn, Cody, Chef and Jamie checked on him.

"Argh! What the heck?!" Chris screamed as he held his knee.

"What happened?" Gwen asked with a concerned look.

"I think I sprained my ankle and twisted it bad. I can barely move it." Chris replied.

"I'm not sure if you can make it to the pilot tomorrow." DeShawn stated as he and Chef help Chris up.

"I have to! I'm one of the hosts for the show and I ain't even on stage as much." Chris explained.

"You can barely stand as it is, ya wanker. Maybe Chef can take your place." Jasmine suggested.

"Nah, I need my best friend at the hospital to keep me company. Plus, I don't think he boost ratings." Chris retorted.

"Debating on taking you to the hospital." Chef stated as he glared at Chris while crossing his arms.

Chris was led to the couch as he held his ankle. He looked around at all his friends.

"One of you guys will need to take over. It needs to be someone who can bring the hype that me and Julie bring." Chris explained.

"Look no further than Topher!" Topher exclaimed as he came in presenting himself.

Jasmine and Shawn both glared at their former adversary as he grinned putting on shades.

"What?! Him?!" Shawn complained.

"Jealous?" Topher taunted as he dodges a slap from Jasmine.

"Don't forget that you're still owed a beating for causing that avalanche." Jasmine stated as she cracked her knuckles.

"I can easily take you to court and I'm sure you wouldn't want that being so far away from home." Topher retorted as he dropped his shades a little bit.

"You're kidding yourself if you think I'm going to allow you to host with Julie." Chris stated.

"I'm pretty sure you don't have a choice. You impersonated a business executive to get me thrown from the game and I sued your agent for misconduct which got him thrown in jail once I provided the right evidence." Topher explained.

"Tom's in jail?!" Chris recoiled with a shocked look.

"Yep. I won the lawsuit and made sure justice was served. Now, I do have the power to take you to court, but I'll be generous if you let me take your place on the show." Topher suggested.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but not on our watch!" Gwen exclaimed.

"Oh, what can you do to stop me?" Topher asked with a sly smirk.

"We'll choose our own host. I'm sure there's someone here who will be willing to take over the mantle." Gwen replied.

"Hmmm, interesting challenge. However, I'll need to see this in action myself. I'll be at the premiere of the new season to see your so-called new host. If this newbie bites the dust, I'm officially taking over. Deal?" Topher explained as he stuck out his hand.

"You ain't getting my show, windbag!" Chris screamed.

"Settle down, mate. He's for real this time." Jasmine consulted.

Gwen shook Topher's hand as the protege television host made his way out. Gwen looked at the people in front of her.

"So….any takers?" Gwen asked as she smiled nervously.

A/N: The plot has already thicken and you can tell that not only will there be the story on the inside, but there will be controversy also on the outside. Chris is out for a little while and we need a new host. I'll be setting up a poll with some names that you guys can vote on. I'll give it til the end of next Friday for you guys to vote. I will place the poll on my profile so you guys can get to it better.
