A/N: Hey everyone! I know I should be working on 'Life and Times' but I really wanted to do this. This will be about connections I make to Harry Potter, Glee, Team Starkid, etc in real life. I wanted to share these with you. YAY! I'm going to category this under 'Harry Potter' because most of the chapters will be about it, though the 1st one won't be. Just want to add that this fic isn't on the top of my to-do list, I'll just do it if I have some spare time.

I was watching 'Avatar' last night for the 1st time and I loved it. While I was watching it my mind kept going to 'Starship'. 1, it was in the future and they weren't on Earth. 2, they were trying to get something valuable from the planet to take back to Earth ('Starship': bugs to be slaves – 'Avatar': unobtanium). And 3, the natives were originally hostile and the intruders used violence and in the end they're all friends.
If you've ever seen 'Starship' you would know about Commander Up's famous injury. I right away thought that Colonel Miles Quaritch from 'Avatar' would be exactly how Up was before he got hurt in the Robot Wars. Then he started killing all those Na'vi, so I thought at least Up is a worthwhile person; he isn't a failure, overall. Plus Up can laugh at himself. When I look in the Colonel's eyes I get an unpleasant feeling; he's an overall failure! Sorry had to add some references.
Also that guy, Parker, reminds me of Junior, who is my favorite character. Though I didn't really like Parker when he asked "What are you guys smoking," I burst out laughing and I thought "You're the one smoking pot. Oh wait…" I'm such a weirdo sometimes.
It was a really good movie and I can't believe I haven't seen it sooner. I recommend it to everyone. Go and watch it!
