Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto

A/N: I think I actually intended this to be angst and sad, but somehow, I threw out everything I had planned, and basically wrote this out of my ass. Well, enjoy!

Sasuke doesn't like girls. No he's not gay! One-sided Sasuhina

Sasuke didn't like girls. Not that he was gay or anything. It was just that he didn't see their appeal. Sure, they were pretty, and hot, but he had always cared about a person's character. That's what made someone truly beautiful. And no girl he knew was beautiful. The Uchiha survivor couldn't even grasp the concept of a beautiful girl. Afterall, he always heard about manipulative women having control over the most honest of men. These men would be fine respectable figures one moment, and grovel at the feet of a captivating vixen the next. But Sasuke was different from most men. He wasn't like Shikamaru, who actually took the time to thoroughly show Temari around the village instead of his usual cloud gazing. He wasn't like Rock Lee, who spent two days running to Sand and back when he heard a rumor that Sakura liked a certain brand name parasol (Which was sadly, used only once by her afterwards) Heck, even Neji went through great lengths to personally invite everyone to his wedding because Tenten couldn't bear to send out the invitations that the damn copy place screwed up (So what if it read "wrdding" instead of "wedding"? People would have figured it out, right?)

Sasuke wasn't like any of them, because it was usually the other way around in his case. Women threw themselves at him, and showered him with ridiculously expensive gifts. One girl even laid her coat down on the street so that Sasuke wouldn't have to walk through a puddle! I mean, that was just embarrassing. He remembered how Naruto couldn't stop laughing at that incident for weeks. No, Sasuke would never be a slave to any girl for his own pride's sake. Except for Hinata he thought to himself. Well, that wasn't entirely true. It wasn't like he would do anything for her. It just so happened that whenever she asked something from him, he would always oblige. He wasn't really sure why. For example, two years ago, Hinata had asked Sasuke kindly to not insult Kiba when he had accidently ran into him, knocking him down in the process. Not that the stupid dog boy regretted it. Sasuke had bit back a nasty comment (something involving bestiality) and went his own way, in the opposite direction from the two. About 8 months after that, the two clan heirs crossed paths again, at a secluded training ground at the edge of the forest. She had asked him to let her train there alone, since she worked better when no one was around. To both their surprises, he had consented, and left with no ill feelings. Of course, Sasuke convinced himself that it was simply because he needed to train alone too. And just two weeks ago, he had helped her carry groceries back to the Hyuuga compound. Sasuke believed that under any other circumstance, he wouldn't have helped. But as fate would have it, she was asked to be the official caterer to Neji and Tenten's wedding, and as a result, was carrying food enough for a hundred people.

Yes, of all three times that Hinata asked Sasuke for a favor, he had granted it. He reasoned that he wouldn't have done that for any other girl, which was true. Hinata was different from everyone else. She was selfless, caring, innocent…the complete opposite of what Sasuke believed girls to be. So in his defense, he wasn't really doing anything special for a girl. More like, an angel. And that wasn't really so bad was it? I mean, groveling at the feet of an angel was better than groveling at the feet of a girl, right? They're all holy and shit. They actually are above men. So it was even okay for Sasuke to like an angel. Or fall in love with one. Right?
