"Hot date tonight?" Elliot asked Olivia.
Surprised Olivia asked, "How did you know?"
"I can see it your eyes," replied Elliot.
"Well you guessed right. I've been dating this guy for a few months now and I
actually think he is marriage potential." A small smile formed on Olivia's
face as she talked about her new man.
"That's really great Olivia. When do I get to meet this guy?"
"Well if I want him to stay around...no time soon," she said while laughing.
"What's that suppose to mean?" Elliot said. Although his voice sounded light,
his eyes held hurt.
"Elliot. You've chased away most of the men that have ever come in contact
with Me."
"Hey! I'm just trying to look out for you!"
Laughing, Olivia replies, "El, you don't always have to worry, especially with
this one. He is one of the good ones."
8 am Monday
Squad room
"Stabler! Where's Benson?" Captain Cragen roared from his office.
"I'm not sure Cap. I've called a couple of times and she is not answering her
phone. This is really not like her. She's never late," replied a worried
Elliot.
"Go find her. Tell her that I want her in my office ASAP."
"Alright, I'll head there now," replied Elliot. He grabbed his jacket and
headed to Olivia's apartment with a sense of dread.
8:30 am
Olivia's Apartment
When Elliot reached Olivia's apartment he decided to call her again. As the
phone rang he could hear her phone on the other side of the door.
"Liv" It's Elliot. You ok?"
Elliot turned her doorknob out of frustration and was surprised to find that
her door was unlocked. Elliot opened the door and scanned the room for any
sign of Olivia. What he saw shocked him to his core.
