Greta's revenge

This is a prologue to a story I'm working on. In "Greta's revenge" the dream demons manipulate Greta into unleashing Freddy Krueger by making a false promise about helping her to get revenge.

Prologue

Alice was shocked at Greta's appearance when she saw her friend materialize in the fridge. Greta's cheeks were bloated and there was a gaping wound in her stomach. Alice grabbed Greta's wrists to pull her out of the fridge but she felt something or someone else pulling Greta back into the fridge. She looked past Greta and noticed Freddy holding onto Greta's waist to keep her from escaping. Greta suddenly disappeared, causing Alice to fall back. Alice got up and ran to her car, then drove to her house, knowing that Greta was in danger. When she pulled up to the Gibson household, she saw a police car and an ambulance in the driveway. Alice ran from her car into the house and saw paramedics lifting a sheet over Greta s face while two policemen were restraining Greta s mother, Racine. My baby, my baby! Racine sobbed while frantically trying to free herself to run over to Greta s body. Alice slumped to the floor, overcome with guilt of not being able to save Greta from Freddy Krueger.
