My recurring nightmare
I run and run. I can't see anything in front of me. Just hear someone chasing me. I don't know or see who it is but I feel that it's someone who wants to hurt me or someone who already has. I feel scared and I start to cry. I can't shout out 'HELP!' because he will find me.
Finally I see the moon. I want to go home. I look back and I see the darkness trying g to swallow me.
I wake up sweaty and scared. I breathe quickly while looking around the room. I go over to my window and I open it. I go back to bed.
Something slimy is going on my bed. It's walking around my legs crawling up on my covers. It's something…Something that doesn't want me in the world. Something that makes me feel unwanted. I keep my eyes closed hearing my heart beat. It jumps at me.
I wake up again. I look around my room and everything looks strange, sharp. I see my cat staring at me with her shiny eyes sitting in front of my wanting to play. She walks around me brushing her head and her tail against my body. I pet her head. I feel somebody watching me. I pick my cat up and go out of the apartment on to the corridor. Can't see anything but can feel them. Them being the ones not wanting me, hating me. Somebody…. Somebody trying to hurt me. I see too shiny eyes before me. I look at my cat's eyes and see my cat is not there anymore. I look back at the shiny eyes and go towards them. Suddenly something jumps on me.
I wake up looking around me and I suddenly start to remember the nightmare. I hear my hamster moving around in her cage while my whole body is shaking. I fall asleep back again lying to myself that I'm not scared. Not anymore.
