In Jump City, the Teen Titans were fighting Trigon, Ravens evil demon father.

The shadows around his hand formed a black dagger. Only Raven and Beast Boy were left conscious as the other titans had been KO'd. As Trigon threw the dagger her way, she shut her eyes, awaiting the pain and death. But it never came. Raven opened her eyes and saw who stopped the dagger. It was Beast boy, her secret crush. As he fell she went to his side, crying as she asked," Why would you save me, I'm the weirdo?" Beast boy just smiled," Cause I love you." He then closed his eyes, for what Raven thought was the last time. She then stood and glared at Trigon with her might. She raised a hand and said," You will pay, FIAT LUX!"A blinding white light enveloped all of Jump city, and everything was still.
