Attia didn't like it one bit.
This Claudia girl who thought she was the sun that they all revolved around just because she had the other key and was from the outside world. (Not that it wasn't effective, as much as Attia hated it, because everyone did worship and follow her every order.)
It was just that Attia didn't trust anyone—except Finn, she would always trust him— especially not some uptight, snotty girl who didn't know anything about how horrible life was in Incarceron. No matter how often Claudia said she thought it was horrible, Attia would never believe her. She was about to let that girl barge in and take away her friends. (Except for Keiro, she could live without his presence.)
However, as soon as the Key lit up with yet another message from Claudia, she was unable to ignore how happy and hopeful Finn's face looked while he talked to her. And, she knew that her attempts to prevent everything would be a waste.
So, she sat in her dark corner and scowled, doomed to her misery.
