"Let's see what you've got TK!" Davis shouted. Kari was watching the soccer match when Tai and Sora came out from the corner. "Hey bro" Kari greeted them looked at Sora's arm linked with Tai's arm and grinned. "Hey bro's girlfriend." "Hi" Tai and Sora said together. "What's going on?" Tai asked. "TK and Davis are having a soccer match to see who's the better soccer player" Kari answered. "I see" Tai replied. "TK would probably win."
Kari's eyes widened with bewilderness. "What?! TK never played soccer in his life!" Tai grinned. "You don't know that." "Lemme guess… You taught him some tricks?" Kari asked. Tai grinned, "Moves that Davis could never do."
On the field…
"Okay, since I'm a nice guy and I'll give you a head start." Davis threw the ball toward him. TK lunged forward and took the ball with his right leg and whizzed pass Davis with the soccer ball. "What?!?! I'll get you!" Davis growled
He ran to catch up to TK, but the blond haired boy did a perplexing move that left Davis confused. Overwhelmed with anger and envy, Davis threw himself on TK. Both fell to the ground, with minor injuries. "TK!" Kari cried as she ran to the field with Tai and Sora. "I don't think that was fair" Sora said as she helped Davis up. "Your not suppose to tackle your opponent down no matter how mad you are."
"TK, are you alright?" Kari said concerned. "Yeah, I'm fine, no thanks to goggle head over there." TK said angrily. "At least, I don't have a hat that covers my brain" Davis threw back. "Please don't start this again" Kari pleaded. TK tried to stop but anger filled his mind. "What's that suppose to mean?" He demanded. Davis snorted. "I mean Kari wants me. You just can't see it, that's a shame" Kari chuckled. "Davis, I would be caught dead to be seen with you, besides, I only see you as a friend & nothing more." Davis groaned in disappointment and TK grinned.
At Kari's place…
"Are you sure you're ok?" Kari asked, stilled worried. "I'm fine," TK said. "Dim wit! Why can't I tell her how I feel, Tai and Sora aren't here, what am I afraid of?" TK thought. "Do you want something to drink?" Kari asked. "Nah, I'm fine" TK replied. "This is it!"
He thought. "Say it now!!!" He opened his mouth, but no words came out.
