It had been a hard hitting workout, followed by a nice hot steamy shower. His muscles felt tired, but loose, and he was awake and ready for whatever the day held. He checked the towel at his waist as he exited the showers to the locker room and opened his own locker.
He instinctively checked for his badge & gun. Then on went the deodorant, and his shirt followed by... wait, hold up a minute... Where was his underwear? He checked under his pants and rooted around his locker. Then he checked again. He knew he had brought underwear when he left the house that morning...
"RYAN!"
He heard snickering from around the corner. "Of course," he thought, "Castle is in on this too." He stomped over to their hiding place.
"What's a matter Esposito? I thought you went commando?" laughed Ryan, backing up.
"That depends on the season! Now give it back!"
But it was too late, Ryan had ran for it, whitey tighties streaming behind him, Esposito in nothing but a shirt and towel behind him, and behind them, the sound of Castle taking pictures on his phone...
