I'd come up to the roof for some peace and quiet. Of course living with 20 boy that will never happen. On the roof was the only person I didn't want to see, Jack freaking Kelly. Jack looked up "Hey ya Rebel." I looked at him, "Hey Jack. Mind if I join ya?" he nodded. I colapssed next to him staring at the stars. He looked at me and smiled an honest smile, "Your hair's a mess." he said. "Gee, thanks." I said sarcasm dripping off every word. "I mean it, but thats what I love about ya. Includin' that smile you never use." I looked at him and he was stading, offering me his hand. I took it and he held me like he hadn't before, and it felt... Dare I say it... Nice. "Listen, I'm goin' to tell you everythin' I love about ya. No interuptions. Sound fair?" I looked at him and smiled. He nodded, "Alright lets start."
"First off, I love your rats nest of hair. Its knotted and confused and occasionaly managable." to make his point he ran his hand through my knotted hair. I swatted his hand away. He smirked at my reaction. "I love your smile you almost never use." he attempted to tickle me to get me to laugh or smile. I did both. "I love your hands, inkstainded and calased as they are." I held them up and looked at them. "Your eyes get this twinkle whenevah your plannin' somethin' an' dat 'appens a lot wit ya." I smiled, Jack was being more of a gentleman then when he was with that rich girl I enjoyed every minute of it. "Your smirk which, dare I say it, outranks Conlon's by a mile and dat look ya get when ya think me an' da guys are bein' insane." I rolled my eyes. "Rebel, what I think I'm tryin' ta say is dat... I love ya. I honestly do. So, what do ya say?" I laughed. "As me cousin would say, I say that what you say is what I say." We both laughed and slept on the roof that night with my head and heart in the right place with the right person, with Jack freakin' Kelly.
