"Mummy, I want to go to the shops" Whined Melissa. Her father James was at work, and she was at home with her mother, Ellie. Ellie had long, thick blonde hair, which cascaded down her back like a waterfall. Melissa was 6 years old, and she took after Ellie in a big way, she had the same hair, the same chocolate brown eyes, and the same heart shaped face.
"Of course we can darling, let me just get ready. Come here, I'll help you put your coat on." Ellie helped Melissa get into her coat, and she grabbed her bag and they headed off for the shops.
They had been in different shops and bought a few things, but after a while Melissa told Ellie that she needed the toilet. Ellie couldn't leave all the bags unattended, and she couldn't take them all into the toilets. She told Melissa to go straight there, and come straight back again.
"I will mummy, don't worry!" Melissa ran off to the toilets, and Ellie waited patiently for her to come back.
It had been a few minutes, but Melissa still hadn't returned. Ellie was trying not to become worried, as she had a right to be, because her mother and aunties had been abducted previously, and so had Ellie when she was a baby. She dreaded the same thing to happen to Melissa.
Ellie picked up all of the bags and made her way hurriedly towards the toilets where Melissa had gone. She made her way inside but no one was in there, she asked people outside but no one had seen her. Ellie frantically took out her mobile phone, and she saw that she had a new text message.
"Don't call the police. If you do, you lose the girl for good."
