Draco was extremely bored. He was bored of the consistent redundancy at Hogwarts, his wary family obligations, and his forced friendships pushed upon him by his over-boding father. It was his seventh and final year at the wizardry school and Draco simply felt like it was all a waste of time.
His only entertainment that kept his sanity at Hogwarts was making the Golden Trio's life miserable. While everyone kissed the ground they walked on, Draco made it his self duty to bring their ego's back to Earth.
Unfortunately, Saint Potter and his two goons were away for their final year for Merlin knows what. And so Draco found himself sitting in the Great Hall, barely listening to his housemates boast about their grand summer vacations while his eyes searched the room for something to occupy his time.
Ginny sat in the Great Hall, absentmindedly chewing on the food in front of her. Her mind wandered to her brother, Harry and Hermione. She continually worried over their well-being since she knew exactly how much danger they were truly in.
As her mind focused more on the trio, the more it seemed to focus on one person in particular: Harry. Ginny's thoughts drifted to the boy with the dark hair, determined eyes, and the famous lightning bolt scar on his forehead. Before Harry left on his grand adventure, he brought Ginny outside the Burrow and kissed her momentarily. All Ginny could remember was the warmth and gentleness of his lips against hers and how it made her feel so pure and complete.
Ginny subconsciously sighed out loud and heard a snicker coming from behind her. As a blush started to quickly form, she abruptly straightened out and scanned the room. Her eyes flitted from table to table until they locked with none other than the infamous Draco Malfoy.
Ginny couldn't help herself groan at his stare. She knew all about his pompous attitude and reputation. Although he was an insincere prat, all the girls at Hogwarts seemed to fall for him just based on his looks. Ginny heard so many rumors that Draco had his fair share of women who fell at his feet. But to Ginny, his horrible personality couldn't make up for his good looks by a long shot.
Before Draco could open his mouth and throw an insult towards Ginny, she made her move first by saying, "Shut up you bloody git." and quickly gathered her things and stormed out of the Great Hall.
