Prologue
"Thank you, Kurosaki-kun."
The words were a faint whisper on the breeze as the auburn beauty disappeared into the night.
The young man thrashed in his sleep, calling out her name.
"Inoue!"
"Don't go, Inoue!"
He desperately yelled, but she continued to walk further out into the vast sea of sand.
"Inoue, come back!"
The figure turned around to face him.
"I-Ino.."
A cascade of tears falling from her beautiful brown eyes, she was only able to utter a few words...
"Goodbye, Kurosaki-kun."
..before she disappeared completely.
"Inoue!"
And the rain began to fall.
