Law couldn't help the smile that pulled at his lips as he stared at the sleeping form of Luffy. His fingers gently caressed the teen's cheeks as his eyes observed the peaceful expression the younger male wore. He could hardly believe that the teen was finally his. For so long he was forced to watch him from afar; to keep his hands to his side and thoughts to himself. But those days were in the past, and that's where Law preferred they stayed.
Luffy stirred for a moment, his face scrunching into a frown momentarily before relaxing once more. The tanned and tattooed stopped their caressing, cupping the teen's cheek in a loving gesture. Law felt his eyes tear up a little as he realized just how much this little ball of hyper-fun changed his life…and his heart. He never could have dreamed that he would one day find love, especially with someone so kind and caring. No longer was his world filled with darkness, loneliness was a thing of the past and he could actually smile now without it being fake or forced.
His dark world was now filled with light thanks to this one teen.
Luffy's eyes slowly fluttered open and he gave a small frown upon seeing a single tear fall from Law's dark eyes. "Hey, is everything okay? Are you alright?" he asked, his voice quiet and filled with concern. His hand reached up and wiped away the tear before cupping Law's cheek. Law let out a breathless chuckle as he grabbed Luffy's hand within his own and leaned into the teen's touch.
"Nothing's wrong," he smiled. Luffy smiled softly in return. "Not anymore."
