Burger run (Destiel)

Set after 8x23, so Cas is human and he still loves cheeseburgers and I wanted to write this because fucking Destiel, that's why.

Dean rose from the table and made his announcement.

"I'm going on a burger run. Anyone wanna come with?"

He looked around the main room of the bunker. Sam was sitting in a corner with a crap ton of books, immersed in every word. Cas, on the other hand, was trying to find something to do. His hair was messy and he looked pretty damn tired from adjusting to being human.

"I'll go with you." said a deep voice Dean could only know belongs to Castiel.

They were now in the car.

"Cas, you gotta put your seatbelt on." said Dean.

"Why?" asked Cas.

"For safety reasons."

Cas chuckled dryly.

"After all the decisions you've made even with great dangers, this is what worries you?"

"Don't make me put it on for you."

"Psh. You wouldn't."

Dean reached across the car to grab the seatbelt and pushed Cas down with the other hand. Castiel rolled his eyes at Dean.

"And for makin' me have to do that, you don't get a burger." said Dean.

"That's not fair. You said this was a burger run." said Cas.

"Nope, you get one of those girly salads that Sam likes."

"Why must you torture me in this way? I have no interest in salad."

"Then what do you have interest in?

Castiel pondered at the thought. Should he just say 'cheeseburgers'? Or perhaps answer the question with other things he was thinking about now with his human feelings… The thoughts he didn't understand…

"What interests me? That's simple; You." said Cas.

"That's it? It must be boring in your head…" said Dean.

"Well, I like cheeseburgers, too. Don't buy me a salad."

"Then buy yourself a burger."

"But Deeeeaaaan…."

Cas was begging now. Dean knew he wasn't being serious about any of this, but he wanted to see how far his ex-angel would go to get his favourite food. It was cute seeing his big blue eyes worried, the way he said his name, it was just, adorable.

"No." said Dean flatly. Then turning away for a second to smirk.

"I haven't had one since Famine played with our minds, and they were delicious, Dean, please." said

Castiel.

"Nope. You need to learn a lesson about being human."

"Castiel doesn't deserve burgers?" he said, with a pout that made Dean's heart melt.

"No, the lesson that you can't always get what you want."

"But… You can trade for it, right? Buy me burgers and…"

"And what, Cas?"

"And…" he said, coming closer into Dean's ear, "I'll do anything."

In that moment, all that Dean could think was about Castiel's hot breath against his ear. Then, he had to stop. The thoughts he was having, about Cas's eyes, his hair, his face and now about him saying that into his ear in such a deliciously dirty way… He wondered if Castiel really knew what he was saying, the things he wanted to do to him…

"Anything?" said Dean, making sure he was right. Castiel thought about the possibility that Dean understood Castiel's thoughts and agreed with them.

The car pulled into the parking lot of the Diner and stopped.

"Dean?" said Cas.

"Yeah?" replied Dean.

"You're going to need your seatbelt on for this…"

Castiel unbuckled his as he slipped over to Dean's lap and kissed him. Dean reacted eagerly and kissed Castiel back, pulling him closer into the seat…

After all the SEX

"Cas?" asked Dean, his voice husky.

"Yes?" replied Castiel groggily.

"You can have your burger."
