So this was inspired by a dream, It is a multichapter fic so I already have chapter 2 written i just have to find time to type it up, and chapter 3 is in progress. So onto the story!
Marks P.O.V
This was it, the day I ask Maddy to marry me, no big deal or anything. I knock on the Shannons door and her father answers damn! "Hi Sir" "Mark" he father nods. Maddy comes out in a black dress and we head off. "How was your day at work"
"Great! Entertaining actually, Malcom discovered a possible cure for cancer and he freaked out"
"Yours?"
"I was OTG for most of it"
. Maddy stops walking and turns around to me with her arms crossed and a exscuse-me-why-did-you-not-tell-me look. "I didn't tell you because i knew you would worry and I didn't want you worried about me". We keep walking, Ok Mark you've rehearsed this, you can do it!
"Heyy! Look at those flowers!" I say when Maddy turns around I quickly grab out the ring and go down on one knee. "Oh they look like frangipanis" Maddy says as she turns around and her mouth forms an O.
"Madelyn Shannon will you marry me?"
Without hesistating Maddy screams "Yes!" as tears come to her face.
I spin her around then I kiss her. We start walking home and were almost at the front door when Maddy grabs my hand and pulls me around the back. "Josh" Maddy calls, he soon pops his head out the window. "Will you get my bag?" he comes back a second later with a black bag and he drops it down for Maddy. "Hi skye" Maddy calls and we hear a muffled reply. We lie in my bed cuddling until we fall asleep.
Maddy's P.O.V
Dad barges into the room the next morning and Mark and I are woken up by it. "Dad?, What are you doing?" I ask him
"What am I doing?, What are you doing sleeping with your boyfriend?" Mum suddenly comes in puffed probably from chasing Dad. "Fiancée" I correct Dad.
Dad's eyes go wide. "Jim calm down, Maddy's 21 she can take care of herself" Mum tells him.
"But I-"
"Give it up old man"
"Now can I see the ring?" Mum says turning to me.
I hold out my hand it's a flower with a gold centre and silver petals."It's beautiful, C'mon Jim we have work." Mum says dragging Dad out the door.
About half and hour later Josh, Skye, Zoe, Alicia, Commander Taylor and Riley come rushing inside. "Is it true?" Josh asks
"Is what true?" I ask playing dumb whilst making Coffee.
"That you're getting married"
"Yes, Dad told you didn't he?"
"Actually he didnt tell anyone, he yelled it in the middle of the marketplace trying to gather soldiers to arrest Mark" Taylor tells us
"It was quite funny actually"Alicia says
"Well congrats" Josh says patting Marks back and hugging me.
"Bye" everyone says and they leave.
About 2 minutes later Zoe comes running in "Can I be the flower girl?"
"Sure Zo"
