You getting home from school, crying because you had a horrible day. Your best friend wasn't there and she is the only one who kept you alive all these years besides music. You were hated because you liked being different. You hate the way other people treat you but you don't dare change yourself. That was one thing your best friend taught you.
You get home and run straight to your room. You plop right on your bed, sobbing uncontrollably. As soon as the tears died down, you turn on your iPod to your favorite artist: Ed Sheeran. Kiss Me begins to play and you start balling again. "You will never have anyone as perfect as Ed! Never!" You scream to yourself. Suddenly, your mom gets home and you quickly try to stop crying. " (Y/N) come down here. I have a gift for you!" Your mom says. Sounding way too happy. You slowly make your way down the stairs and over to your mom. She hands you a gold envelope and you just stand there, looking at her. "Go on. Open it!" She urges you. You shrug and slowly open it. Your mouth drops open to what it is.
Right there in your hands is two tickets to an Ed Sheeran concert. It's on the week of your 17th birthday and the seats are front row. You have no idea what to do so you just hug your mom and scream excitedly. You then run to your room. The concert isn't for two months but your still excited. You stick the tickets on your cork board with a neon yellow thumbtack and just fall backwards onto your bed.
The next two months move really fast. The only thing that kept you going was the fact that you will get to see Ed Sheeran on your birthday. Finally, it is the day of the concert. You wake up and get ready for school. Your mom drives you to school, like she does every morning, and kisses you on the forehead just before you get out of her car. You wave goodbye and walk into the school. You see your best friend and quickly rush to her side. "Guess what?!" You scream, like a normal fangirling teenager. "Yes, yes. I know, Ed Sheeran concert tonight. Your taking me right?" "I don't know yet. My mom wants to take me." You say. The rest of the school day, you just manage not to flip out.
When you get home, you run to your room and pick out the perfect outfit for the concert. A orange tank top under a white hoodie that said 'Ed Sheeran' on the front. Dark wash skinny jeans and some black chucks. You went to go straighten your hair and get ready. You plopped your iPod into your purse along with some gum and your phone. Finally your mom came home and you two left to go to the concert.
Front row. Claustrophobic. Nervous yet excited. You stood in the crowd with all these screaming girls who were obviously hoping he would notice them. Finally, Ed walked onstage and your frown quickly turned into the stupidest smile ever. There he stood. His perfect ginger hair normally messy and 'Nigel', his guitar in his arms. He began singing 'Give Me Love' and you, unconsciously, began singing along. After that song he sang your personal favorite, 'You need me, I don't need you' and you noticed he kept looking at you and smiling. You would smile back at him and blush. Eventruly, the concert was over but you didn't want to leave. Your mother was dragging you out by force when you felt someone grab your arm. You spun around, shocked to see it was Ed. He had the biggest smile on his face. "Um, excuse me but you are really beautiful and I would like to talk to you later and get to know you better." He said. You just stood there, speechless, with the dumbest smile on your face. "Uh. Yeah. Here's my number. You say as you hand him it. "Thanks." He says as he holds out your hand and kisses it.
When you got home, you just went right to your room and went to bed. Ed just kissed your hand. He has your number. Anything can happen. Anything!
