Chapter One: Admission
My brain was pounding as I sat next to my mother in the wing of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Breathing was a little more difficult than normal and my head has been pounding even with medication, well Tylenol at least. I could practically hear my mother's thoughts shooting out of her flaming red head. I tried to act as if I wasn't in pain, for my mother's sake. My mother stood from her seat her stilettos slamming on the linoleum tiled floor.
"Where the hell is Derek Shepard?!" she yelled at what looked like to be a nurse.
"Addison!" said taller semi dark skinned man with a gray and white beard.
"Thank God, somebody I know! Richard, my daughter, she's in pain. I know there's something neurological is wrong with her. I need Derek," I heard her say worriedly.
"How do you know something wrong?" Richard asked he's eyebrows fusing together.
"She wanted to visit here for months so when I finally brought her here and on the plane ride she passed out after complaining of a migraine. Then on the way to the museum she had another migraine. Then today on the way to lunch she passed out in the car. And she's my daughter I know when there is something wrong with my daughter. I am a mother. I am her mother," my mother turning into a tiger as she always does when it concerns me.
"Alright Addison, I'll page Shepard for you. Let me meet this daughter of yours," the man named Richard smiled. My mom smiled and brought Richard over to me. He was kind yet serious looking. It made me a little less worried about the pounding in my brain.
"Hi I'm Aria," I grinned, but it faulted slightly with a giant thud in my brain.
"I'm Richard Weber, a friend of your mom," he grinned back.
"Dr. Weber! Mom told me stories about you and her other doctor friends all the time. I'd ask her over and over again told tell me more and more stories," I said remembering the days in the kitchen in Manhattan asking about everything I could ever ask about her medical career.
"Oh really?" he asked raising his eyebrows at my mother.
"What? She's a curious girl. What can I say she likes medicine? She is my daughter," she said smiling proudly at me.
"Let's get you to room," Richard grinned. I tried to stand but instead my legs began to wobble. Thankfully so one caught me. When I looked up all I saw were two sea foam green eyes.
"Sorry," I mumbled not moving my eyes from his.
"It's okay. I've had worse," the guy grinned.
"Thanks," I said to him still blinded by those damn eyes. In a spilt second I felt as if I was being stabbed in the head with a dagger.
"What'd you do?" my mother yelled at the pretty eyed boy.
"Nothing!" he said back and another scream escaped my lips.
