The dreary day depressed Kakashi more than normal as he stood silently by the memorial stone. He thought about obito, who he couldn't save, and rin who he had also failed. Winning, he thought, wasn't anything if a comrade died to get there. Rain began to pour steadily down on Kakashi's silver mane. He didn't move. Tears began to slide down his cheeks/mask but no one would no. Cry in the rain, so no emotion showed.
Kakashi began to slowly turn away.
"Goodbye obito, sorry." He whispered quietly. He said those words every day but it fixed nothing. Obito was still dead, so was rin and he was forced to bare their deaths on his shoulders. Not to mention his sensei was gone as well. The battle weary man walked silently to the training ground where Obito had been tied to the pole. He stood and gazed at the funny, meaningful memory.
The copy ninja crouched down and began to silently weep again. All of his sad, depressing memories flooded back. He went to one knee; all of this stress was taking its toll it seemed. He looked at the old posts again and could have sworn he saw his old squad. "Guys" He said. They all smiled at him warmly then began to fade away.
"No, Noo" Kakashi murmured. Obito was the last to disappear, "Obito" Kakashi fell to the ground, and darkness ensnared him.
"Kakashi!' he heard two pairs of feet running towards him. "Hurry let's get him to the hospital" said one, masculine. "Ok Asuma you can carry him I'll get the hokage." Said kurenai obviously the second. "Right" Kakashi felt himself gently lifted as he heard Kurenai sprinting away. Kakashi felt like his whole body was lead and wondered if Asuma agreed with him. He blacked out again, tired by all this thinking.
"He should be fine now we've managed to bring the fever down." A strong female voice said. "What was wrong with him lady Tsunade?" Kurenai questioned. "Well he seemed to be ok physically but my guess is that some of his worries and stress finally got to him." "Well the war did take its toll on him and his squad not to mention the rest of his life" Asuma said. "Yes well we should give him some quiet so he can rest." Tsunade said. Kakashi lulled back into sleep after that lovely conversation, exhausted.
Kakashi awoke suddenly and, after a moment of panic, remembered where he was. He gently laid his body back on the pillows. Gazing out he saw the sun setting over the hokage's heads. "Oh Kakashi your awake!" Tsunade said as she walked in.
"Yeah I guess," He replied feebly. "How are you feeling?" "Like shit" "Oh well you gave us quite a scare you perv." Kakashi looked away embarrassed. Tsunade did a quick physical (much to Kakashi's dismay) then said, "Well you can leave tomorrow but you better explain what happened before you leave." "Ok" He replied. "Do you need anything?" Tsunade questioned while shuffling towards the door. "Porn" Kakashi replied.
Tsunade walked out smiling, he was fine.
