Finally, fluff shalt be released!
I actually had two ideas for fluff one-shots and was in the midst of writing the first one. (Won't spoil it by hinting). Let's just say it was a challenge for me to write and that's why this is coming out first. TO THE FIC-MOBILE!
Eugene: You don't have a fic mobile.
Me: I don't care, I own Tangled, and by extension you, so I make the rules.
Eugene: No, you don't.
Me: Shucks.
TO THE NON-EXISTENT FIC-MOBILE!
Tonight was the night.
Eugene had been planning this for weeks now. There was no way it could go wrong. He had taken down the guards' schedule and their routes. There was a priceless reward at stake, and Eugene would do all that he could to acquire it.
He had managed to get into the first floor of the castle and was now sneaking through the dark corridors, diving and ducking to avoid the attention of the palace guards.
'Just a few doors away.' Eugene thought to himself as he quickly sneaked into a broom closet to avoid the pair of guards turning around the corner.
Reaching the door to his destination, Eugene silently pushed opened the door, stealthily making his way to the container of his prize. The room was dark, and Eugene had to strain his eyes to even make out where the booty was. This wasn't a problem to him of course, he was a master thief. Working in the darkness was one of the things he did best.
To his horror, he realized there was someone there already, raiding the chest of its contents. This couldn't be! The prize was of no interest to anyone else but him. Who would be here?
Eugene slowly made his way behind the second intruder, about to try and knock him out. He grabbed the frying pan hanging on his back, holding it over the intruder's head, ready to slam it down with all the force he could muster, when suddenly, the intruder turned around.
"Eugene? What are you doing here?"
Eugene stopped dead.
"Blondie, I should be asking you that. What on earth are you doing in the kitchen at this hour?"
Rapunzel shifted uncomfortably.
"Well, I got kind of hungry in bed, so I decided to come down here and see if there were any cookies left in the parlour. Now, Mister Fitzherbert, what are YOU doing here?" She retorted, poking a finger on his chest.
Eugene hesitated for a brief moment before mumbling, "I came down to get the cookies too."
Rapunzel paused, then gave a coy smile. Holding up the cookie jar, she waved it in front of Eugene's face.
"I don't see why we can't share."
King Thomas whistled a merry tune as he sauntered into the kitchen, straight to the parlour. It was Sunday morning. The royal baker would have left the cookies for him last night. Flipping open the doors to the parlour, he paused, taking in the lack of cookies within the parlour, before letting out a mighty bellow.
"WHO TOOK THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!?"
Somewhere, in one of the rooms or corridors of the castle, Eugene and Rapunzel gulped.
I hope you enjoyed this little fluff drabble. Since Wednesday is the day I have the least amount of time in the week, I hereby announce every Wednesday to be 'Drabblesday', on which I will release one drabble on Wednesday. Till next time!

PLEASE REVIEW. A increase in the number of favorites or follows, I don't give a shit. A review, no matter how short or how flamed it is, is actual feedback, which is priceless. More priceless than chocolate chip cookies. So please review. I'll give you a cookie for it. (:
