A/N: The weather here really sucks right now:(. I do not own Hetalia.
It was the evening of the 23rd of March and for once, the assembly room was completely quiet. Italy was staring. Greece was staring. France was staring. Finland was smiling in sympathy.
"Oi, Bro, you're late! And what are you wearing? It's almost April bro, What's with the parka?" America, it seems, was not satisfied with just staring at his brother, who, despite it being late March, was wearing full winter gear.
Canada slowly turned toward America, irritated already, and gave him a bone chilling smile, not noticing or at least not caring that the world's attention was on him. Several nations shivered and shifted away and in the distance, the cry "LAATVIAAA!" was heard.
"Oh, I don't know, it might just be the fact that it's -15, and that's without windchill! Out at my place, and all buses and taxies were shut down because no one was prepared for the FOOT of snow," Canada saw America cringe, but didn't stop, he was on a roll "It might be because it's colder in the southern most part of my country than in Moscow and Helsinki!"
"Hey, Dude I'd know if it was -15! That'd be such weird weather to have in the spring! I'd be affected by that weather if it were -15 Fahrenheit~" America said, certain that his brother was wrong for once.
"Ve~ Doitsu, what's Fahrenheit~?"
"America's weird ay of measuring things, Italy
Canada kept going, still annoyed at his `brother', and, bolstered by the fact that America was being even more of an idiot than usual. "I meant Celsius you idiot! And I have had seven kids asking if I wanted my drive way shovelled before I got the chance! Seven! Almost everyone phoned in sick for parliament and it was miserable out! No one was prepared for this! So you shut up, before I shut it for you, you impatient imbecile!"
The room was quiet, for once, but for the heavy breathing of a shivering Canada. Not even Belarus was willing to creep Russia in that atmosphere. The entire wold stared at Canada as he shedded his parks, snow pants, hat, mittens, scarf and switched his winter boots for shoes. Now calm, but still riding on his adrenalin high, he said,
"It's time to start the meeting now, eh?"
A/N: It seriously was cold today. And it did snow a foot, from 7 in the morning to 7 at night. You'd start shovelling your drive way and then but the time you got to the end, it'd be snowy again. It was also cold enough that by the time I came beck in, it took me an hour and a hot bath to warm back up, and I wasn't even wet!
And I have nothing against door-to-door snow shovelers, I made thirty bucks doing that for people, and am getting paid twenty at the end of the week.
Canada is weird with its measurement system, we use metric for math class, temperature (as in outside or inside), government and medical measurements, and science, but we use imperial for regular measurement of hight and weight ( like telling a friend), building, cooking temperature, and ingredient measurements.
I did try to post this on the 26th, but the server's been down the whole time! And yet, there are still updated from other people. :(
Peace out, and be cool with the environment, turn off unused electronics and lights!
