Dean leaned into the motel chair and squared his shoulders before bringing his calloused hands up to his neckline. He massaged his tired muscles and tried to release all the stress that seemed to build there on a daily basis. He sighed. Even after several minutes of rubbing, he was still in pain, just like every night. Eventually, he gave up and moved to the bed where he knew he would fall into a restless sleep even tenser than he woke up.
He spared a glance at the bed next to him.
Sam
He's the reason it's all worth it.
