it's been a while. I apologize. For now, Hanging On will not be updated. Buttttt, I've come up with this little munchkin.I realized that full out stories weren't for me.
So, here I am with some Hunger Games one shots. They will be based off songs and each chapter will have a different song. I'll be posting the lyrics at the bottom of each. I suggest you listen to the song while you read each one.

It's been a hell of a summer.
We, (meaning myself, Peeta, Annie, Finnick, Johanna, Gale, and Madge), just graduated high school. We decided to get an rv (or two) and head cross country. First stop was Bed Stuy, NYC. It's said to be crazy down there but that's how we grew up. Free. Wild. Crazy.
It's a little past 11 p.m. and we're running around in an abandoned skate park.
We have no tell of how long we're staying and going because we live in the now. We're gonna be young while it lasts. If that means doing crazy shit, then so be it. It never kills to have a little fun.
Why not have the time of your life and live young? Why is it told that kids are crazy? It's just our way of expressing freedom.
"PEETA. DON'T." But it's too late. He's thrown me in a hotel pool.
I swim through the fake blue of the chlorine. I pretend I'm a mermaid. Moving swiftly, taking my time to go along with the currents of the 6 feet underground ocean. I slowly rise to the surface and jump up. I picture myself as Ariel jumping into the rocks at the end of Part Of Your World but apparently I don't look like it, considering everyone is laughing at me.
Usually, I would scowl and ignore them but now I just laugh along.
Nothing will ever get better than this.
