Carlisle saw his future and could not believe it , was going to be him . A father . Now as young Carlisle was puzzling over the vision he saw he knew he'd had to live in the here and now and he'd was alone , he was walking through the streets of where he lived and grew up but was alone until he saw her . '' Are you ok ? '' he asked the young girl as she was getting up apparently from a fall .'' Yes now I am ,'' she told him ,'' Boys were beating me up but I showed them my fangs and they ran I'm a vampire .'' Carlisle shook his head ,'' Is that suppose to scare me ? '' he'd asked her helping her up .She laughed ,'' It usually does .''
'' I'm not scared you see my brother was a vampire once and he bit me ,'' he'd showed her the teeth marks on his neck .She smiled and laugh , '' You said he bit you once what happen to him ? '' Carlisle open the jacket he wore and pulled out a stake and a hammer , she backed away .
'' You see dear lady I really am a vampire but I hate my brother for turning me into one and so I take my revenge out on all other vampires , I'm a vampire but I'm a vampire hunter , makes sense right ? '' he ask . She scream ,'' No ,'' and he plunge the stake through her heart , she fell .But then he saw that the sun was coming up and drop the stake and hammer as she fell and he stood there looking at her . He folded his arms and turned into a bat and flew off into the sky away from the sunlight back to his castle where he lived .
Carlisle open his eyes and Esme was laying next to him she was alright it was just a nightmare he had because of the all night movies he watched with Edward , or had it been a nightmare ?
