Tesla Shimura woke up early in the morning and went to the kitchenette in a room adjacent to the bar and started making breakfast. It wasn't for him of course, he had a day job to go to. He quickly cracked a few eggs and fried some bacon and set it on a semi dirty plate and left a note for Tenko to lay low. Until they found someone like that teleportation hero, they would have to lay low. The only shield protecting his painstakingly gathered group of Villains he had assembled to chip away at the Hero society was the fact that they were hidden in a building legally in Tesla's name. The legitimacy of Tesla owning and paying for a base of operations kept his childishly minded brother was a bit of worry off of Tesla's mind. Ever since that incident a few years ago, Tesla had been gathering his strength, collecting others of a similar disposition towards the Hero society as he was. His brother for example, well maybe Tenko wasn't the best example. Tenko, in spite of Tesla's efforts, had built a tendency to despise the Hero society even more than Tesla himself, especially the top Heroes, Heroes known as peacemakers. Tesla got on the bus to his job, he was a manager at a appliance store, and checked his wallet to see what his lunch options were. Well, that was a depressing sight. Tesla sighed as he got off the bus and went in the employee entrance and started setting things up for the day. The day progressed slowly and surely, people trickling in, looking around and occasionally buying something before trickling back out. It was about 3 o'clock pm before excitement found its way into Sawada appliance store. A rough looking person barged in, breathing fire at everyone, yelling, "If you come in here, I'll burn everything in this store! Tesla glances outside to see two of the Heroes from his previous nighttime rampage. The fair haired, muscled Hero with the red cape and the claw like instrument on his hands and the Teleportation Hero, his shining eyes staring at the Villain in the store. The Hero had a spear of blood in his hand and was gripping it in a annoyed way. Then, the Teleportation Hero opened a gate and the spear was flung through it, stabbing into the Villain's knee. It was a simple matter of walking in and taking the bleeding Villain to the police for the two Heroes. Tesla gritted his teeth as the two Heroes walked past him. They hadn't even tried peaceful resolution. Heroes like those two were on the top of Tesla's hate list. He wasn't big on the whole honorable fighting thing, but he did believe that Heroes should be peaceful resolvers, not the stab first ask questions later kind that those two were, and it wasn't just them. Hundreds of Heroes acted first before trying to resolve it. Tesla forced himself to calm down and focus on his job and not shoot sparks at the backs of the two Heroes that were walking through another gate. Once Tesla finished his shift, he walked back and waited for the evening bus. "One day," Tesla thought as he climbed back onto the bus. "One day I will tear apart this society of Heroes. Greedy, pugilistic Heroes like those two won't exist once that day arrives." Tesla arrived back home and walked in to see Tenko sitting at the bar, a nearly Christmas complete puzzle in front of him. "You're back." Tenko said as he picked up a piece and looked for its spot.

"Have you been doing that all day?" Tesla asked, setting down some ingredients for breakfast tomorrow.

"Yeah. I'm almost done." Tenko said, fitting his piece into its slot and picking up another piece. Tesla sighed as he told him to not stay up too late. Tesla walked into his bedroom and was about to fall asleep before he saw a picture on one of the few shelves. It was a picture from Tesla's high school days, 7 years previous. There he was with two others, a girl and a guy. Tesla's mind flew back three years ago to the event that changed everything for him.
