Mom called down the boys for breakfast on a warm Sunday morning. Dad had already taken Megan to the bus stop for Summer Camp an hour ago, and the boys were happy to have her away.
"Wow, this rules." Drake said as he poured Lucky Charms into his cereal bowl.
"Yeah, not a Megan in sight!" Josh took some eggs from a dish and put them on his plate.
"Be nice. Your sister probably misses you, and you'll start to miss her before you know it." Mom put the dirty dishes in the sink and sat down at the kitchen table.
The boys laughed and Mom shook her head.
"Hey, I'm home." Dad shouted as he walked in the door.
"Good, breakfast is ready."
"Thanks." Walter kissed Mom on the cheek and joined them. "Oh, honey, did I tell you?"
"Tell me what?"
"Well, Grandpa is finally moving out!" He whispered.
"Yes!" Drake and Josh exclaimed at the same time.
"No Megan, no Gramps! HELLO HEAVEN!" Josh said with excitement.
"So…" Walter ignored the boys; "I thought we'd give Megan that room as a surprise for coming back from camp."
"Great idea! When should we move her stuff?" Mom asked and took a bite of bacon.
"I was thinking tomorrow. While we're at work, Drake and Josh could move everything on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Then it would be more than ready by Friday."
"Dad!" Josh whined, "Why should we-,"
"Josh," Drake whispered while Mom and Dad were talking. "Think about it. This could be our chance to get the real deal on her. All those schemes…and how she came up with them. Why the evil has taken over this poor child."
"Hmmm, I see." Josh nodded and smiled.
"Okay, it's decided!" Mom announced. "Drake and Josh will move her stuff over. And as a reward for the boys," She paused, "Megan's old room will become…"
Drake and Josh individually thought about what Mom would say.
"A library!"
"Hah?" Josh said.
"I was just kidding. It will be…" she cleared her throat, "A music room!"
"Yeah," Dad added," On Thursday, you can transfer all Drake's band stuff and Josh's stereo equipment to that room. If you two do a good job on Megan's room, we might even buy a little stage to put in there."
"Awesome!" Drake shouted.
"COOL-I-O!" Josh said.
"This will be a good experience." Mom said.
"Like a summer job." Dad continued.
