Have you ever experience being a rich kid, who can have anything your heart desires?

Like a having beautiful and pristine clothes, shoes and accessories, or a lavish lifestyle? Well, I hated it.

Being a child of a rich family is hard for me, especially when my parents are always there for me and buys me expensive stuff and an older sister who's getting ready for college.

My name is Amelia Rosette, but most people call me Amy Rose or Amy. Daughter of the one of the most successful business man in Station Square.

Station Square is fairly large to your average city, buildings high and low, cars rushing through traffic constantly and most of all, the life there.

For me, my family wasn't all...spoiled, as I'd like to call it. My mother, Areya, was actually a very kind and gentle woman who is always polite in any occasion but can sometimes be bossy and motherly towards me and my sister.

That also includes my dad, Diego, who owns a business that his generation had taken over many times. He was a, fair man, always there for his family's needs and was generous towards his employees and clients.

He would sometimes tuck me in bed when he was still at home at night, he even called me 'little hedgie' as a nickname for me, which I hate and love at the same time.

And there's my older sister, Rosy, she's a tough cookie and is always overprotective over me. Her ultimate reason for that behavior was because she always desired a little sister or brother and since I was her only sibling, well, you get the point.

Being a tough kid wasn't hard for her, she had a circle of friends, even a boyfriend. She earned herself a name after winning a fight from the top bully at her highschool, the name 'Rosy the Rascal' was so bad ass, I still liked it.

It was easy to say that I had the perfect family, two nice and cool parents, an awesome sister and a perfect lifestyle.

My family was the equivalent to a dream family, sure we had our troubles before but we always get over them all.

Suddenly, my thoughts were disturbed when our car had swerved to the left, while a moving truck was following behind.

Grumbling from the sudden interruption, I took out my phone and plugged my earphones in and wasted no time blasting music through my ears despite having the fact that my mom might see what I'm doing.

Sometimes when we're all in the car, my mom would see what me and Rosy are doing. She would snap us out of our trance or clap her hands to get our attention.

It's irritating but understandable, I shook my thoughts away as I turned to the car window and looked off to the trees we were passing by and houses in all sizes.

My mom and dad decided to move to a neighborhood just west of Station Square. The neighborhood was relatively safe and healthy, with little kids playing hopscotch just by the sidewalk.

Teenage boys just skateboarding nearby and girls sitting at the patio using their phones or reading books while their moms are preparing some sort of lunch for them.

Nevertheless, it was a nice neighborhood, with nice people, a prefect place for raising a family. Although the name of the place can throw some people off until they'd take a look for themselves around here.

We soon arrived to a large but simple house with shrubs and bushes lined up around the exterior of the house with roses blooming. The house was nice, not gonna lie, and the environment was family friendly too.

It was also surrounded with a brick wall with some iron, black and perfectly designed bars on top the brick walls. I roll my eyes at this, not really surprised with the house of choice.

The house itself is a two story house with a two balconies just behind the house and in front as soon as I checked the backyard.

The backyard also seemed nice too, with a trees behind and a few more bushes here and there. The air was so healthy and safe to breathe rather than Station Square's usual dirty air.

As I slipped back inside the house, I went out front to see my family already taking out the boxes from inside the car while the truck pulled over and two movers jumped out the truck to take out the remaining boxes and things.

My sister then approached me, smiling with a box filled with her stuff, "Hey Amy, can you bring this up to my room? Mom said its just at the left of the stairs. " Rosy asked and gave the box to me.

"Sure. " I responded blandly but smiled back and walked back inside carrying the box with me, I climbed up the stairs while also looking where I was stepping as I ascended up.

Soon, I went to Rosy's room and opened the door, her room was like any room, I knew at one point that her bed would be brought up here and her dressers and drawers.

At the right, I spotted a closet with a few hangers in there disorganised and an old teddy bear which was missing an eye.

Ignoring it, I just entered and placed the box at the left corner of the room and left. But upon leaving, I saw my room just by Rosy's.

Seeing no downside, I walked in my room as I pushed the door open, revealing a room with a pink wallpaper with white polka dots.

As I entered my soon to be room, I noticed the front balcony just in front of me. Smiling, I decided to walk out for some fresh air.

I opened the glass door, I walked out and held my hands onto the stone railings, I spotted my sister and parents unpacking the last of the boxes from the car and saw the movers taking my bed from the truck out.

Deciding to help out, I was about to turn around, until large breeze suddenly hit me. My quills flowing to the left hard as the fast air finally left, I swayed my hair away from my face amazed by the hard breeze.

I was pushed out of my head when I heard Rosy calling me down to get my boxes, so I just shook off the incident and rushed downstairs to help.

"Yes, no, it's not a problem at all." A male voice said, with a chuckle as he pressed the phone near his ear and grabbed a suitcase from his king sized bed.

Seeing that it was just my dad, I just ignored his conversion over the phone and continued reading a book from the shelves walking over to the couch as he came out the room.

We just finished dinner and me and Rosy were just doing our usual thing. For Rosy, talking to her friends on her laptop. Me, I just read any book I can find to pass the time.

I then heard the front door close with Mom saying goodbye, implying dad left for work, I was a bit sad though. I kinda liked it when dad tucks me to bed, but I'm like 16 and I can't bring that to the table.

Emerging from the hall, came out mom heading towards the kitchen to continue washing the dishes, but soon she saw me and smiled.

"Amelia, good news. Your going to Emerald High, they were astonished with your smarts and cooking skills! " Mom said excitedly, saying my full name making me sigh.

I closed my book and placed it down the coffee table in front of me, smiling to mom. "Heh, I guess that's good... " I said.

"Honey, what's the matter? Not excited? "

I shook my head and stood up from the couch. "I am! It's just, I'm not sure I'm gonna make any friends this year. Everytime I open my mouth, they would leave. " A pout then formed on my muzzle as I took the book from the table and looked for a nearby bookshelf.

"Oh Amelia, I'm sure your gonna make friends this year, you didn't forget your old ones didn't you? " She asked as I placed the book through a space on the shelf, my mind when blank for a moment as I remembered my old friends.

"Yeah...," I faced away. "I remember, I just don't know why we had to move away. " Mom sighed and hugged me, caressing my quills lightly.

"We had to dear, " She then released me from the hug and smiled at me. " Now get some sleep, you have to go early since its the first day for the school. "

I nodded my head as I walked to the stairs, but soon turned my head to face my mom. "Thanks mom, I... needed that. " A smile crept onto my face, as I climbed up the stairs.

*Rosy*

I closed my laptop, a yawn escaping my mouth as I collapsed on my bed. Feeling the soft and smooth comfort of my sheets touching my bare back.

"Ah Chaos, I gotta get to sleep... " I said and placed my laptop in my bag as I took out a charger and plugged it in.

I was about to fall asleep when my phone rang near me, I groaned and took my phone from my bedside and opened it, to see a text my boyfriend, Scourge.

I smirked and rolled my eyes, 'Finally... ' I thought as I scrolled down, but the text he gave me made me gasp in excitement.

I giggled happily and texted back as I held my phone cliseclose to my chest as smiled. "Oh my Chaos, Amy is gonna love it here! " I said to myself.
