Hey Everyone

Hey Everyone! This piece was actually a descriptive essay for my English class. I had to describe the word "Courage" as a person and Haruka came to my mind!

This story is COMPLETELY original; it doesn't relate to any Sailor Moon storyline. Hope you all enjoy it!

Courage and Acceptance

The yellow Ferrari sped quietly along the beach. Haruka gripped the steering wheel as Michiru sat beside her. She had told Michiru that they really needed to talk. What about, Michiru wondered?

What she had to tell Michiru was not going to be easy, but Haruka had to do it. It was something that she couldn't put off any longer. Coming to the place that she felt was the right place to talk, Haruka checked her mirrors and turned into an empty and deserted parking lot. She drove to the parking lane closest to the beach and turned toward the setting sun.

"What's the matter?" Michiru asked as Haruka turned off the ignition.

"Michiru," Haruka held her breath, "Your father is still beating you isn't he?" Michiru glared into Haruka's blue eyes. "Is it that obvious?" she asked.

Haruka nodded. As she clenched her fists, her lightly tanned skin became white. "I contacted some local authorities," Haruka slowly said.

Michiru's mouth dropped. "Why? I told you not to tell anyone!"

"I had to!" Haruka told her trying not to raise her voice. "To be honest, I noticed it a long time ago. I never said anything because I didn't want to stick my nose in your business. After you admitted it to me I knew I had to contact someone!"

Michiru turned her face away. She didn't want Haruka to see her eyes water.

"Michiru, how much longer until your father beats you to your death?"

Michiru didn't turn. She could hear Haruka place her keys in the ignition and start the engine.

The drive home seemed to be the longest drive both Haruka and Michiru had ever taken. As Haruka pulled into the driveway, Michiru ran out of the car before it came to a complete stop. Haruka didn't bother chasing after her. "I know I broke a promise," Haruka thought to herself as she witnessed a silhouette slap Michiru, "But I know that it was the right thing to do." Haruka let out a deep sigh as she pulled out of the driveway, "When you are taken away from your father, I'm sure you will think that too."

Just a little info: The title is the character names for Haruka and Michiru. In my actual essay, Haruka and Michiru names were characterized as "Courage" and "Acceptance." I hope you guys enjoyed it! Please R&R! Arigato!
