I don't own Harry Potter or Voldemort I am obviously not the owner it.
She was his best friend, one of the only people who didn't call him a freak. She knew about his ability to talk to snakes. She stood by him when people learned about his gift with snakes and called him a demon. She knew that he could hurt all the other kids at the orphanage. He trusted no one but her, and because she was friends with him she was out of the group and trusted no one else. When he was eleven and Dumbledore came he didn't completely want to go because he would be leaving his best friend. She knew he wanted to go so she told him to go to Hogwarts. When she got back from his first year she was still there and greeted him with a huge smile. He had made some friends at Hogwarts but he didn't trust them like he did her. In his second year he heard this story of the Chamber of Secrets, and owled her telling her of the story, and raised a question that he himself had wondered, was he related to Salazar Slytherin.
When he came back from his second year he brought back every book that he could (several of them about dark magic) and she helped him search. Right before his fifth way they finally found the entrance to the chamber, without her he wouldn't have found it. She had known that it would be in the place he least expected, she also knew that it would probably be in a place that had water in it. A bout a month before the end of his fifth year he found the opining in a girl's bathroom at the same time he found out how to make a horcux. In sixth year he decided to make his first horcux with the death of his father putting it in a diary she had given him. After he had killed his father and grandparents he owled her and told her everything. She knew how dark the magic was and he knew she would protect it with her life so he sent it to her, a piece of his soul. When he came back from sixth year that was when everything changed.
Two weeks before his last year at Hogwarts was the worst day of his life. They had to stop at a store to get some muggle paper for her when a man walked out of the store and pointed a gun at her. He was trying to get away after had robed some place. When he was almost away he pulled the trigger killing her. He saw her crumble to the ground and ran to her catching her right before she hit the ground and the light left her eyes. That was when he fully embraced the name his followers at Hogwarts had been calling him Lord Voldemort. That year he finally opened the chamber, something he had never done because she hadn't wanted her to. He called out the basilisk killing a mudblood girl.
After Hogwarts he dove so far into dark magic he wondered if she would recognize him. Now after years and countless murders later, wondering if Harry Potter was going to actually kill him that he wondered if he would see her or even want to see him. He felt his soul leave his body when Potter pushed his curse back. He closed his eyes and when he opened them again there she was, looking as she did right before she was killed. She leaned down and grabbed his had pulling him up and he finally saw her eyes bright and alive. She grabbed his hand and sent him a blinding smile "Come on Tom," was all she said. Maybe death was just another adventure.
That was just a story that popped into my head so I wrote it down. You can say it was a romance if you want but I wrote them to be just friends, or maybe like Snape and Lily. The time line is probably off but I don't really know. Please ignore my spelling/grammar errors. Thank you for reading and please review.
Love, Lizzy
