Authors Note: This is basically a little set up/random beginning to the main story idea I had. This was just fun to write.

Ever since her father's death she didn't feel safe; although, she'd never admit that to anyone. She'd been spending more time with her partner and best friend, not that she'd admit that either, Tony DiNozzo.

She had spent the first few nights back from Israel at his place, simply because she didn't want to be alone. She was surprised to find that Tony had bought a new, bigger mattress while she was away; and even though she'd offer to sleep on the couch he had insisted that she sleep in the bed, with him. "It's not like we haven't shared a bed before." He had told her with a grin. One night she woke up to find she lying on his chest. She was pretty sure he was still asleep, which made it easy for her to roll over without him ever knowing it happened.

Finally she started feeling better, and less alone. She wasn't as afraid to stay at her apartment alone anymore. She knew she needed to go back to her place soon, or she never would. When she told Tony she was ready to leave he seemed a little sad, but maybe that was all in her head because she didn't want him to what her to go.

After she left they'd get take out a few times a month, sit on Tony's couch, and watch his extensive movie collection. She still felt alone once in a while, but she knew he was always there for her.
