Always Together
Momo was sleeping peacefully and Toshiro pushed a loose strand of hair from her face. Moments like these were precious to Toshiro. He felt so blessed that he was able to be with Momo like this. To sleep together, to eat together, to share happiness together. He loved everything about her, from her child-like personality to her bright smile, he loved it all. The fact that she was his forever had given him his reason to live. Momo stirred before raising a hand to rub her eyes.
"Good morning Shiro-chan."
"Good morning Momo."
She smiled gently and held his hand.
"I had a dream about us last night."
"What about?"
Momo laughed a little before speaking.
"We were dancing at a party in the human world, I was a princess and you were my prince."
He smiled at the thought. She closed her eyes and pressed his hand to her lips.
"I love you Toshiro."
He leaned over and kissed her forehead.
"I love you too."
She began to cry and Toshiro sat up startled.
"What's wrong?"
"N-nothing, I-I'm j-just so happy!"
He chuckled.
"You dummy."
He held her close and set his chin on top of her head. It was funny how small she seemed now that he had grown completely.
"I'm happy too. Every moment we're together, I'm completely happy."
She smiled and hugged him tighter. We'll always be together.
