Uncommon road
I thought that I was on the same road as before
One that had confused me for so long
It was one that I had tried to ignore
But when I looked around, for once I wanted to be wrong
I was so used to the dark of night
Always finding the way on my own
Before now I never knew there was such light
I didn't realize I had been alone
The path still confuses me
It catches me by surprise now and then
But now that I have a light to help me see
I would take this path again
I'm not sure where this path will go
But it no longer seems like such a horrible thing
This path is a new one, that I know
this new path makes me feel amazing
