Chapter 1
The End to What I Thought Was True Love
"Knock, knock, knock" someone said while the bedroom door opened.
Casey looked up from her book. "Hi Sam! She jumped of her bed and went to hug him. He hugged her too but so tight Casey could hardly breathe. "Wow. You been working out or what? You seem pretty stronger…"
Sam looked really worried, like he was about to cry. He was just pacing back and forth, back and forth. "Casey… I have to tell you something. You know how my parents are getting a divorce right? I was deciding on staying here with my dad because of, you know, my friends, school and you."
"What's wrong with that?" Casey asked. Sam didn't answer. He was just looking at her straight in the eye. "Hello? Earth to Sam."
"I really love you Casey. I hope you know that."
"Of course I know that. I love you so much too."
"Well, I can't stay anymore. I have to live with my mom. My dad was having this secret affair and he is going to marry that girl. I don't want to live with a girl I don't know but for you I would. I asked him if I could stay but he laid a flat-out no. I felt like I was being kicked out! I can call you but you know what they say about long distance relationships."
Casey was so shocked to hear the news. She didn't care about the affair at all. Sam was leaving and she couldn't do anything about it. Sam, the one she loved and cared for and trusted more than anyone was leaving the city and especially, her.
"Casey, please tell me you're okay with this. You know I love you but I can't do anything about this. I lost all my willpower."
Casey still didn't answer. She felt like her mouth dried up and a force was taking all her breath away from her. She felt really dizzy and sick. She didn't know she could feel this kind of emotion before. But after about half a minute she spoke up. "What do you think Sam?! Do you think I'm okay with this?! I love you more than anything and I trust you more than anyone."
"I'm sorry but I have to go now."
"No! Sam please don't go! You can live here!"
"You know I can't Casey. Can I have one more kiss before I go?"
Casey crashed her lips with his but it just didn't feel right like it did before. She didn't feel anything and Sam didn't feel anything either. They both pulled apart at the same time and Casey felt even sadder. Sam was leaving and she didn't feel anything on their last kiss. She knew he didn't feel anything too.
"I guess its good-bye…" Sam said.
"I guess so too…" Casey said her face stained with tears and her eyes full of tears waiting to come out.
"I love you Case and bye."
"Bye" she said which almost sounded like a squeal.
When the door closed she dove her face into the pillows and cried and cried and cried. Lizzie heard her from the outside her room and knocked on the door. All she heard were sobs so she let herself in.
"Case? I know about Sam moving. I understand that you're sad so if you want me to do anything I will."
"Thanks- Liz but- I just need to be alone- right now" she said in between sobs.
"Okay but just call me if you need anything."
"Kay."
Lizzie left the room. Casey cried a bit more then sighed. Why should I be crying? I can call him or chat with him. So she went to the washroom to take a shower.
A/N: Truly sorry for making this chapter really short. I'll try to make the chapters longer!
