Come Back! Chapter 1: Stay safe please!
Pepper's POV
"I'm going to miss you so much for the next two weeks." I said. Me and Tony, who is my boyfriend I'm happy to say, were hanging out in the armory the last day he was going to be here before he goes off to Tokyo for two weeks with his dad for some business thing.
"I know. I'm going to miss you too. I'll make sure to have my phone by me at all times. If something happens, don't hesitate to call. I'm bringing the armor with me. I can be back here in less than an hour if something bad happens." He said.
"I wouldn't want to take you away from important business stuff."
"You are more important than any stupid business stuff. Plus dad is only making me go, so I know what it's like when I own the company one day."
"I won't have anything to do for a whole week." I said sighing as I laid back against the couch we were sitting on.
"Thank goodness Rhodey is coming back before I do. I don't think I could leave you here by yourself for two weeks. I don't know how I'm going to make it through this week knowing you're by yourself." Rhodey and his mom were going to visit some family for a week. Me and my dad were going to go do something together, but naturally, he got called in to work. Now I'm stuck here with no one to hang out with.
"I'll be fine. I'll most likely stay here or stay at home for this week since I won't have anybody to hang out with."
"You have Happy." I gave him a weird look, but then we started laughing.
"Me hang out with Happy? You know he annoys me to no end. He's my friend, but one can only take so much of him."
"True, true. If you do hang out here, please don't mess with the suits."
"You're only worried about the suits?"
"No I'm worried more about you than them, but you could be hurt if you mess with them too much."
"Mhmmm right whatever you say." I said knowing he was worried I would do something to his suits that would make him have to fix them or completely rebuild them.
"I'm being serious!" He exclaimed. I laughed and kissed his lips.
"I would've messed with War Machine anyways." He smiled.
"Thank you." He then realized something though. "Wait I would still have to fix a suit!" I laughed and kissed him again.
Unknown Person's POV
"Sir I have news on the Stark boy." One of my henchmen said coming in to my control room and kneeled before me as I turned around to look at him.
"You may speak." I said. He got off his knee.
"The Stark boy is heading to Tokyo for two weeks, and that other boy is leaving with his mother."
"What about the girl?" I asked.
"Her dad was called in to work, which means she'll be home by herself for a week."
"Good. Plan to strike the night after Stark leaves to go to Tokyo." The henchman nodded and left. "I will finally break Tony Stark."
