Chapter One: Everything Is Going To Be Okay

"Nico this is the last straw," My stepmother shook her head disappointedly at me. "This is your sixth school!"
"I'm sorry I get bullied and I have to defend myself and I'm sorry that weird things happen to me," I shouted at her even though she was talking gently to me.
She sighed and shot a deadly glare at me, "You should be because everything is your fault."
"It's my fault that people hate?" Was this woman kidding?
"It is, just please make friends," Even though her voice was soft and polite I felt that usual pain in my chest that I cant identify. "Be good."
As my stepmother drove away I debated whether to run away or give this school a shot. Obviously the answer was to run away however I wasn't able to.
"Hey kiddo where do you think you're going?" I felt someone grab my shoulder.
"Don't call me kiddo," I turned around and glared at the brown-eyed guy.
"Look if you want to skip school then I suggest that you don't do it on your first day," The guy let go of my shoulder and smiled even though I was just rude to him. "I'm Leo."
Leo put his hand out but I declined it rather impolitely, "What makes you think I wanted to know your name?"
"Nothing," He shrugged. "However you cant go around the school without knowing the name of the coolest guy."
"What's his name?" Did he really think he was the coolest guy?
"I like you, kid. You have pretty good sense of humor," Leo glanced at his watch, "However we don't have time to chit chat."
Leo ran to the front door of the office and looked behind him. Was he really expecting me to follow him?
"Well come on!" Leo shouted at me. "You don't want to be late for your first day of school."
After hesitating for a minute I decided to give this school a shot. Just one.
[Authors Note: This is my first story on here so please give it a chance. I wrote this while five kids were screaming and jumping around. I'm not sure how I did it. Criticism is highly appreciated unless you are completely rude. I'm going to try my best and update. I know they aren't in camp and stuff but I'll explain all of this later. Bye!]
