"Not again" Katniss muttered, "I can't do this again" (she was currently preparing for the parade for the 75th annual hunger games, or the 3rd quarter quell as it was also known).
"Right Katniss" grumbled Haymitch Abernathy who stumbled in smelling of alcohol as usual, "I've actually grown quite fond of you, but i know you want Peeta to win this and I respect your decision" he hugged her, "now get ready".
Gale, Gale, Gale. Katniss couldn't stop thinking of the man she really loved, sure she loved Peeta as a friend, but he as well as her didn't feel the same, anyway she doesn't know much about Peeta really.
"Sugar cube?" Katniss turned around to see former victor Finnick Odair.
"Um, no" said Katniss.
"Suit yourself, sugar cube?" Finnick had offered one to Peeta who had just arrived, and wait... he accepted it! And was he blushing? No it was the make up surely...
It was near the end of the parade, and Katniss had noticed district 2 tribute Enobaria (with the vampire teeth) kept staring at district seven's Johanna Mason.
Katniss quickly turned to President Snow, whose devil's eyes stared chillingly at her, "I will kill you, you bastard!" she whispered to herself.
