This is a couple of years later. Max, Fang, and Iggy are 18, Nudge is 16, Gazzy is 14, and Angel is 12. They have decided to buy a house and settle down.

I stared at the stupid little stick for the longest time. What stick was it? The little stick that you pissed on. The one that can magically ruin your life. And the little plus sign was screaming at me, "How could you be so stupid?!"
I seriously didn't know how I could be so freaking stupid. Was this how the leader of the flock was supposed to act? I was only eighteen. Barely an adult! How will I be able to support the flock? Keep this house?
I walked downstairs to the kitchen, getting some water. Well, I wouldn't be able to keep this a secret for long. At some point they'll have to notice the huge bulge erupting from my stomach. What will they think? That I can't keep my legs shut?
I took a sip from my water bottle, and almost spit it out when I heard Fangs voice from behind me.
"Hey Max," he said, actually in a happy mood for once.
"Oh, uh, hey Fang. You… surprised me," I said, shakily screwing the cap back on the bottle.
He took a soda out of the fridge. "I always surprise you. What did you think I was, an Eraser?" Laughing, he took a swig of his soda.
I tried to laugh with him, but it sounded more like choking.
"Is there something wrong with you?" He asked, looking at me with concern.
I closed my eyes so I didn't have to look at him. "I'm just fine," I lied.
My stomach churned with guilt. Why? Because I wasn't pregnant with Fangs baby.
Don't worry, a lot more will happen than just that same old, "Pregnant Max".
