Travesty
By SMYGO4EVA

Seishiro Sakurazuka, the Sakurazukamori, wanted to let one know that humanity hid its face behind an ugly mask, that corruptions reign supreme, and that a pitiful human was not destined for such prospect of immortality. There was no time for childish games when it came to gaining what he had once lost, not when it came to longevity that he so desired.

He found it very amusing how people can find the very idea of immortality and having grand power intoxicating and consuming; he would know. He was enthralled with the vey concept of turning one's fantasy into reality, making a dream world that everyone could inhabit a utopia a very impossible dream but a foreseeable truth. If it took powers of darkness to retrieve key to what he had lost a long time ago, if it would traveling across many worlds within the many dimensions that existed, then it would be the price he had to pay, all in order to make a reverie realized.

Oruha, a beautiful singer, was no stranger to wanting something so badly, the desire for a wish to be granted so much that it hurt from the inside out. To be so beautiful yet being called a powerful creature of darkness, of such a high caliber in a make-believe world where fantasy existed and reality never stood in the way, was beyond her.

To be beautiful was a curse, the dream would be too fragile within reality, and it would break within seconds. To be beautiful and an entity of the shadows was a blessing and a curse, to the point where she would be happy with nothing. Oruha contented herself with the fact that one day her looks would wither away completely and she too would be left with nothing.

One pretended to be a normal human, while one created the illusion of a monster born from the dark. They were both tricked by a fabricated prophecy, something that was the price they had to pay for the wishes they wanted so desperately to be granted, and to face the reality that they created was a travesty for them both.
