Darkness swirls into a pulsating black orb, a Cloaked figure stepping out onto the top of the Moonlit hill and then tossing back the hood of his coat.

Mission Details

Destroy Thirty Heartless and report back to the Castle.

Sounded easy enough to the Freeshooter, who summoned both guns from the Darkness, and then ventured a step forward, grinning when he spots the swath of darkness that means he's caught Enemy attention.

"Lets get started~"

And he leaps to the side as Cursed Pumpkins fly at him, smashing on a tree some short distance away, and then taking aim at the newly arrived Dark-balls and Gargoyles, which charged at him. Three shots take out two at the back of the group, and he warps, feeling the tug of Space bending to his will as he reappears above them.

A shower of Purple Hued Arrows rain down on the remaining five heartless, severely injuring two Gargoyles and taking out the remaining Dark-balls with Graviga, watching the heartless as they were flattened.

"Heh…."

Five down, Twenty five to go.

He hears the familiar sound of a Search Ghost, frowning as they floated up to his position even as A wizard appeared above him.

Now he's facing Two angered Gargoyles, a magic caster and a mild annoyance, shooting the Ghost point blank in the head as it attempts to swipe at him and then dodging a Fireball aimed for his arm.

"There's no real challenge to this…."

Where were the tougher heartless? If Saix was to assign him missions, he could at least be sent to places where he'd get a challenge out of it.

Like the Land of Dragons, where the Heartless are as Agile as he is.

This is nothing more than a Slaughter, Finishing the Gargoyles with a well timed Gravity spell and then grunting as an Invisible charged him, Knocking him back a few feet and leaving him with sore ribs.

Well, at least these were more difficult to kill, Ending the Wizards existence with a sharp jab to the body, having weakened it with carefully aimed shots during the battle. Three Invisibles circle him, one Stabbing its weapon into the ground and disappearing, watching those circling, cursed flames and making sure to warp before they made contact.

And then he appears once again, high in the sky and leaving the Heartless confused for a moment, Letting lose another volley of Arrows to rain from the sky, hearing the Invisibles shriek with anger before dying.

'How many does that make? Two Shadows, Three Darkballs, A wizard, Two Gargoyles…a Search Ghost and now three Invisibles…'

Twelve Heartless.

'This could take a while.'

And sure enough, a long time passes, the Gun wielder growing steadily more annoyed by the amount of time it was taking for the Heartless to reappear. He'd killed Twenty Seven, three more and he could go home.

"Come on…Come on.." He'd changed to the Graveyard, and then to Guillotine Square when no more Heartless had appeared in either area, evidently unwilling to appear and be eliminated. A moment of silence passes, the Freeshooter moving forward, slowly…

And then Chaos breaks out, as a large group of Neoshadows spawn.

Xigbar's forced to duck almost immediately as they start attacking, claws tearing at his cloak, shaking one off his arm and blasting the head off another with a loud curse. Just his luck to get nine Neoshadows at once, firing again and again, disliking the situation he was in.

"All of you….stop!"

They freeze in place, Xigbar taking advantage of the stopped time and casting Thundaga, Then Graviga, before finishing off with rapid fire.

And then Time picks back up, the Heartless shrieking with agony and fading.

"Finally."

And he opens a Dark Corridor, impatient to return to the Castle That Never was, give his report to Saix, then go relax for the rest of the night.

Saix couldn't say he didn't put effort into his missions after that battle.
