She sat on the front porch, waiting for her husband to come home. It was very late in the night, however she wanted to stay awake until her mission was accomplished. Every night she would come outside, to wait for her lover to come home. She wanted so much to just stay there and make sure she would not sleep, just so that her husband would come home to see that he was not alone in this time of the night, just so that he could see how ,much she loved him.

She grew even more tired as time passed, and every second took her one step closer to sleep. She wished she could stay awake, just so that she could show her love to the one who loved her so deeply. Another person came out of the house, and looked at her. She knew that the person would try to persuade her to come inside, but she wouldn't budge, like always. The other person sighed, and walked away, muttering a goodnight. The Lady didn't go to bed however, but she was growing tired.

Her eyelids grew heavy, and she was afraid that she could not delay sleeping any longer. She had tried her hardest to keep awake, and now it was time to sleep. Despite this, she continued to try and stay awake, all this for one person. Anyone would think that she had gone insane, but they were all asleep at this time of the night.

She soon grew to tired to stay awake anymore, and abandoned the mission, just like every other time. A few hours later, a silhouette appeared. He walked towards his house, to find his love sleeping on the front porch, as always. He sighed.

When will she give up, he thought to himself. He proceeded to pick her up, and wallk inside the house. Its sweet how she waits for me to come home, though, he thought as he looked down at her peaceful sleeping face. Once again, the young man sighed, and placed her on the bed, before proceeding to slip into the bed beside her. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and fell asleep, knowing that he was being loved by the person who he loved.
