Annabeth POV:
I turned on the music and danced with Percy.
I sang, "Preacher man walked into the club and he said, he said, 'Hey, girl, can't you walk and not stray?'. Father I'm torn and I'm sellin' my soul to the rhythm, the beat and the bass. Cause I can't confess my rock-and-roll ways. Oo oo oo oo oo. Cause I'm so possessed with the music, the music he plays."
Percy laced his hands in my hair as the speakers blared out the chorus of the song.
'I can't stop my feet from dancing to the sound of his drum. Oh no!
I fell in love with my rock god.
I can't keep my hips from swaying to his sweet melody.
You see, I fell in love with my rock, rock god.'
Percy was leaning forwards. Our lips were about to touch when the door to the Big House flew open and it seemed like the whole camp burst into the room.
"Yo, Percy!" Grover said. "Time to cool off!"
Clarisse and her cabin picked Percy and I up and ran over to the canoe lake. They dumped us in there. Percy made an air bubble around me and we shared a lingering kiss.
